Empowering families from egg to flight
From the Nest Behavioral Services sprung from a desire to connect families with truly family-first care. We know from both research and personal experience how parental involvement impacts outcomes for learners. In fact, the better parents understand the rationale behind and ways to deliver evidence-based best practices themselves, the more successful their children are long-term, even once no longer in therapy–and the better parents feel about the process!
Change comes “from the nest,” or from the home and family, first. No matter how experienced the staff or provider, you know your child, your values, your aspirations, your challenges, and what best fits your family. Let’s work together to support your child in a way that makes them feel valued and nurtured–and if we’re not the right fit, let’s work together to find what is.

Our Team
Britt Bolton, MA, BCBA
Founder & Clinical Director
Britt’s journey in ABA began in the fall of 2017, when a recruiter first introduced her to the field. After researching the profession, she quickly realized she wanted not only to pursue an entry-level role as an ABA therapist, but also to earn her master’s degree and become a BCBA.
During her graduate training, Britt had the privilege of learning from several exceptional clinicians who helped shape her clinical skills, compassion, understanding of trauma-informed care, and ability to support staff. She earned her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in May 2020 and passed her certification exam that August.
Since then, Britt has been dedicated to expanding her professional scope through extensive continuing education, training in new techniques and tools, work with learners ranging in age from 1 to 19, and ongoing study of common comorbidities her clients may experience. She is especially passionate about involving parents in their children’s therapeutic journey and collaborating with professionals across disciplines to ensure each learner receives the most appropriate and effective support.
Outside of work, Britt enjoys spending time with her two children, writing, taking long drives, and exploring creative projects.
Services
Not every service will be the right one for every family.
Your BCBA will work with you to figure out what service(s) will meet your and your child’s needs.
Direct ABA Therapy provided by one of our intensely vetted behavior technicians, overseen by the master’s level clinician, or BCBA, to ensure consistency, high performance, and quality care for your child while building independence in communication, social skills, self-care, emotional regulation, and more. This therapy is in your own home so you have confidence in service quality and your child has real practice with the items, people, and environments most relevant to them.
Parent Involvement & Technical Training, where a BCBA provides guidance on how to build learning opportunities into day-to-day routines for learners on the autism spectrum. Do you have a child who’s having a hard time sharing, throws things when they have to wait, or is delayed in toilet training? What about a teen interested in becoming more independent, who’s struggling with the challenges of puberty and relationships? Learn how you can best support them through research-backed practices.
Private-Pay Behavioral Consultation that provides guidance on the goals you have for your child and family at a frequency that works for you. Because this is not insurance funded, this can be expanded to learners who are on a diagnostic or ABA waitlist, other support needs or complexities, and neurotypical children experiencing challenges. See some of our inclusive packages for ways we can help–and if we don’t have the expertise to adequately serve your child’s needs, we’ll help find someone who does.
